Using Share Links

Analyzing a Call via Share Link

If your call lives on a supported platform, paste its share link into Intel (the analysis surface at /dashboard/analyze). CloseIntel detects the platform from the URL and tries to fetch the transcript for analysis. This is the default tab when you open Intel.

Supported Platforms

You can paste a link from:

• Fireflies.ai
• Fathom
• Otter.ai
• Zoom
• Loom
• Google Meet transcripts (shared as a Google Doc / Google Drive link)

How to Submit

1. Open Intel from the sidebar (under the Sales section).
2. Enter a Title for the call.
3. Leave the Share Link tab selected (it's the default).
4. Paste the share URL from one of the supported platforms.
5. Click Run Analysis.

CloseIntel fetches the transcript and queues it for analysis. The on-screen status briefly shows Fetching transcript... before the call enters the pipeline.

Where the Link Comes From

Each platform creates share links a little differently:

• Fireflies: Open the meeting and copy the /view/ share link.
• Fathom: Open the call and copy its /share/ URL.
• Otter: Use the Share option on a transcript to get a public link.
• Zoom: Copy the cloud-recording share link from the Zoom web portal.
• Loom: Copy the Share link from the video page.
• Google Meet: Open the meeting's transcript Google Doc, set it to Anyone with the link can view, and copy the docs.google.com URL.

Troubleshooting

• "Unsupported URL": Use a full link from one of the supported platforms above — not a shortened or unrelated URL.
• Transcript not found (Fireflies / Fathom): The connected account can only import recordings it owns or that were shared with it. If the import fails, copy the transcript text and use the Paste Transcript tab instead — see Pasting a Transcript.
• Zoom asks for a passcode or shows a CAPTCHA: Zoom often blocks automated access. Copy the transcript and paste it manually.
• Google Doc not accessible: Make sure the doc is shared as Anyone with the link can view.
