How Intel Credits Work

Every AI analysis in Intel (the analysis surface at /dashboard/analyze) uses 1 Intel Credit, no matter which submission method you use — paste a transcript, upload audio, paste a share link, or import JSON.

Where Intel Credits Come From

Your available Intel Credits can be drawn from a few sources, in this order:

• Plan credits — the monthly allowance included with your subscription.
• Bonus credits — extra credits added on top of your plan allowance.
• Shared team pool — if your organization uses a pooled allocation, analyses can draw from a balance shared across the team (managed by your admin).
• Courtesy (grace) analyses — once your plan, bonus, and pool credits are exhausted, CloseIntel allows a small number of courtesy analyses (currently 2) so an urgent call isn't blocked. You'll see a confirmation prompt noting how many remain before you continue.

When an Intel Credit Is Used

• A credit is consumed when the analysis actually runs, not the moment you click Run Analysis.
• The credit count shown on the Intel page updates as you submit and re-syncs with the server when an analysis finishes or errors, so the on-screen number stays accurate.

Checking Your Balance

Your remaining Intel Credits are shown on the /dashboard/analyze page near the submission form. For plan details and usage, open Settings → Billing.

Team Credit Pools

If your organization uses a shared pool:

• Team members draw analyses from the same balance.
• Your admin allocates and monitors the pool.
• The pool replenishes based on your plan's billing cycle.

Troubleshooting

• Out of Intel Credits: When your plan, bonus, pool, and courtesy analyses are all used up, a prompt appears to purchase more (or, on some plans, to contact your admin). Ask your admin about the shared pool, or review your plan in Settings → Billing.
• Credit count looks off: The number re-syncs with the server after each analysis completes or errors. Refresh the page if it still looks wrong after a minute.
