Connecting Dialpad
Dialpad is a cloud phone system for business communications. Connect it to CloseIntel as an Auto-Sync Integration so Dialpad calls flow into Intel (the Call Analyzer) for AI analysis automatically.
Setup
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- In the Auto-Sync Integrations card, click the Dialpad tile, then click Connect.
- You'll be redirected to Dialpad to authorize access.
- Sign in and approve the requested permissions.
- You'll be redirected back to CloseIntel and Dialpad shows as Connected.
How it works
Once connected:
- Dialpad calls are imported automatically when they complete.
- Transcripts are generated and queued for AI analysis.
- Imported calls appear in your call list (History in the sidebar) with a Dialpad source label.
Managing the integration
From the Dialpad tile in Settings → Integrations you can:
- Auto-analyze new calls — toggle automatic analysis on or off.
- Filter by meeting title keywords — analyze only calls whose title contains a keyword you add. Leave it empty to analyze everything.
- View Activity — see recent events, including any failures.
- Disconnect — revoke access at any time.
Troubleshooting
- Reconnect required: the authorization may have expired or been revoked — click Reconnect on the Dialpad tile to re-authorize.
- Missing calls: confirm call recording is enabled in your Dialpad account.
- Permission errors: make sure you have the access in Dialpad needed to authorize the connection.
Dialpad doesn't provide attendee emails, so calls are attributed by the connection rather than by participant email.
