Fathom Integration

Connecting Fathom

Fathom is an AI meeting assistant that records and summarizes your calls. Connect it to CloseIntel as an Auto-Sync Integration so Fathom meetings flow into Intel (the Call Analyzer) for AI analysis automatically.

Setup

1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
2. In the Auto-Sync Integrations card, click the Fathom tile, then click Connect Fathom.
3. A popup opens for you to authorize CloseIntel with your Fathom account. Sign in and approve the access.
4. The popup closes and Fathom shows as connected.

How it works

Once connected:

• New Fathom recordings are imported automatically after each meeting finishes processing.
• Transcripts are queued for AI analysis.
• Imported calls appear in your call list (History in the sidebar) with a Fathom source label.

Managing the integration

From the Fathom tile in Settings → Integrations you can:

• Auto-analyze new calls — toggle automatic analysis on or off.
• Filter by meeting title keywords — analyze only meetings whose title contains a keyword you add (for example, Demo or Discovery). Leave it empty to analyze everything.
• Sync now — pull any recent recordings immediately.
• Import past recordings — back-fill older Fathom recordings into CloseIntel.
• View Activity — see recent events, including any failures.
• Disconnect — stop syncing at any time.

Troubleshooting

• Authorization failed: disconnect and reconnect to restart the authorization flow.
• Reconnect required: the connection may have expired or been revoked — click Reconnect on the Fathom tile.
• Missing calls: make sure your Fathom email is an attendee on the call and the Fathom notetaker was recording.
• Delayed imports: allow a few minutes after the meeting ends for the recording to process and import.

Tips

• Fathom works best with scheduled meetings — make sure the Fathom notetaker is enabled for your calendar.
