Importing from Otter.ai
Otter.ai is a Manual link upload platform in CloseIntel — there's no account to connect. You analyze an Otter.ai meeting by pasting its share link into Intel (the Call Analyzer) one call at a time.
How to import
- Open the note in Otter.ai that you want to analyze.
- Click Share and copy the share link.
- In CloseIntel, open Intel from the sidebar.
- Choose the Share Link method.
- Paste the Otter.ai share link into the field.
- Add an optional title for the call.
- Click Run Analysis to queue the call.
You'll also find these same steps in Settings → Integrations under the Manual link upload card — click the Otter.ai tile to view the sharing instructions.
Requirements
- The Otter.ai share link must be publicly accessible so CloseIntel can read the transcript.
- Otter must have finished processing the recording so a transcript is available.
What happens next
- CloseIntel pulls the transcript from the share link.
- The call is queued for AI analysis.
- Results appear in your call list (History in the sidebar) once processing completes, with an Otter source label.
Troubleshooting
- Import failed: check that the share link is valid and the note is accessible.
- Missing transcript: make sure Otter has finished processing the recording before you share it.
- Permission error: confirm the share link's permissions allow anyone with the link to view it.
If a share link won't work, you can always copy the transcript text and use the Paste Transcript method in Intel instead.
