Tracking Your Process Map Progress

Two kinds of progress on the Process Map

The Process Map tracks two completely separate things, and it's worth knowing which is which:

1. Which phases you've reviewed — a personal "I've read this" marker, saved locally in your browser.
2. Your phase grades — your letter grade per phase, computed on the server from your analyzed calls.

The first is just a reading bookmark. The second is your real performance and is covered in Your Phase Grades.

Which phases you've reviewed (local)

As you work through the Map, CloseIntel remembers which phases you've opened so you can tell at a glance what's left to read.

• When you select a phase and its guidance loads, that phase is marked as viewed.
• Viewed phases get a "visited" styling on the chevron rail; unreviewed phases stay in their default state.
• The page header tells you when you've reviewed every phase ("You've reviewed every phase — use this map as a reference anytime").

This viewed-state is stored locally in your browser, not on the server. That means:

• It persists between sessions on the same device and browser.
• Clearing your browser data, or opening the Map on a different device or browser, resets the viewed markers.
• It is purely a reading aid — it does not affect your grades or any performance metric.

Your phase grades (server)

Your letter grades are a different story. They are calculated and stored on the server from your analyzed calls over the last 30 days, and they show up on the Map the same way no matter which device you sign in from. You can't reset them by clearing your browser, and reviewing a phase in the Map never changes them — only analyzing more calls does.

The Map shows your grades in two places:

• An overall grade card at the top ("Your overall sales process performance").
• A per-phase grade in the right column of each phase's detail panel.

Tips

• Work through every phase at least once so the viewed markers confirm you've read the whole playbook.
• Don't confuse the "viewed" markers with your grades — viewing a phase is reading; the grade reflects how you actually execute on calls.
• Revisit specific phases when your grade there is low or trending down.
