How CloseIntel handles your data — PII redaction, access controls, your export and deletion rights, and how your data is used.
Our Approach
Your sales data is sensitive, and CloseIntel handles it accordingly. This article covers what you can see and control directly. For the full legal detail, see the Privacy Policy and Terms linked in the app footer.
PII Redaction
Transcripts are processed through a PII redaction step that strips personally identifiable information — such as phone numbers, email addresses, and similar identifiers — before that content is stored or used.
How Your Data Is Used
- Analysis is performed by CloseIntel's contracted AI providers under data-processing agreements.
- Your data is not used to train third-party AI models.
CloseIntel does not record your calls or transcribe them in real time. Transcription runs on audio you upload, or on recordings brought in through an integration you've connected with a third-party meeting or dialer service, after the fact.
Your Data Rights
You have direct control over your data from Settings:
- Export — download your calls and analyses as CSV files from the Data Export tab. See Data Export.
- Delete — permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Danger Zone tab. This is irreversible. See Delete Account.
Access Controls
Access to your data is governed by role-based permissions. In an organization, what your managers and admins can see is determined by their assigned roles and team scope.
