Single Sign-On (SSO)

What Is SSO?

Single Sign-On (SSO) lets you log in to CloseIntel with your company's existing identity provider — such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), OneLogin, or Google Workspace — using SAML. Instead of a separate CloseIntel password, you authenticate with the same credentials you use for your other corporate tools.

How SSO Works

Once SSO is set up for your organization, here's what to expect at sign-in:

1. Go to your organization's CloseIntel sign-in page.
2. Enter your Email address and move to the next field. CloseIntel detects your company's domain.
3. If SSO is configured, the password field is hidden and a Continue with SSO button appears.
4. Click Continue with SSO. You're sent to your identity provider, where you sign in (including any MFA your provider requires).
5. You're redirected back to CloseIntel, fully authenticated.

SSO-Required Organizations

If your organization requires SSO, you won't see email/password or Google sign-in options — all authentication goes through your identity provider. This keeps your company's security policies consistent across tools.

Things to Know

• First-time SSO users — Your CloseIntel account is provisioned automatically the first time you authenticate through SSO. No separate sign-up is needed.
• Team and role — Your admin may pre-assign your team and role so you have the right access from day one.
• Sessions — Your session length follows your organization's policies; you may be asked to re-authenticate periodically.

Troubleshooting

• Redirect loop or error — Clear your browser cookies and try again. If it persists, contact your IT admin.
• "SSO not available for this domain" — SSO may not be enabled for your organization yet. Contact your admin.
• Access denied from your provider — Ask your IT admin to confirm you're assigned access to CloseIntel in your identity provider.
