Auto-Sync Integrations vs. Manual link upload — what each is and when to use it.
Two ways to get calls into CloseIntel
CloseIntel analyzes your sales conversations after they happen — it analyzes recordings and transcripts you bring in, on your terms. There are two ways to do that, both managed from Settings → Integrations:
- Auto-Sync Integrations — connect a recording platform once, and new calls flow in and get analyzed automatically.
- Manual link upload — paste a share link (or transcript) into Intel (the Call Analyzer at Intel in the sidebar) one call at a time, with no setup.
CloseIntel never records or listens to a live call. Transcription and analysis run on a recording or transcript you upload or sync in after the meeting has ended.
Auto-Sync Integrations
Connect your call recording platform once and CloseIntel imports new calls for you. After a call is recorded by the connected platform and finishes processing, the transcript is pulled in and queued for AI analysis — no manual step per call.
The Auto-Sync providers are:
- Fireflies.ai — webhook-based, set up with your Fireflies API key.
- Fathom — connected with a one-click OAuth authorization.
- Dialpad — connected with a one-click OAuth authorization.
- Zoom — connected with a one-click OAuth authorization (imports your Zoom cloud recordings).
- GoHighLevel (GHL) — webhook-based, sends completed-call recordings to CloseIntel for transcription.
To set one up, go to Settings → Integrations, find the Auto-Sync Integrations card, click the provider tile, and follow the setup steps in the drawer. Each provider has its own help article with the full walkthrough.
Each Auto-Sync provider has an Auto-analyze new calls toggle and an optional meeting-title keyword filter so you can limit which calls are analyzed (for example, only meetings with "Demo" or "Discovery" in the title).
Manual link upload
When you just want to analyze one call — or you use a platform that isn't an Auto-Sync provider — paste a public share link directly into Intel. No connection or setup is needed.
The Manual link upload card in Settings → Integrations lists the platforms with step-by-step sharing instructions:
- Otter.ai — paste an Otter.ai share link.
- Zoom — paste a Zoom cloud-recording share link.
- Loom — paste a Loom video share link.
- Google Meet — paste the Google Docs transcript link for the meeting.
To analyze a call this way, open Intel, choose the Share Link method, paste the link, add an optional title, and click Run Analysis.
Zoom appears in both lists. You can connect Zoom as an Auto-Sync integration (so cloud recordings import automatically) or paste a single Zoom share link manually — whichever fits the moment.
Which should I use?
- Use Auto-Sync if you take calls regularly and want every one analyzed without lifting a finger.
- Use Manual link upload for a one-off call, a recording from a platform you haven't connected, or when you want full control over which calls get analyzed.
You can also always copy and paste raw transcript text using the Paste Transcript method in Intel — that works for any platform.
